Are you a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse desiring to update or improve your clinical skills? Are you a nursing student who want to accelerate their learning? The Bridge Medical Language Clinical Skills Refresher workshop is designed to help you in achieving this goal.
You will be encouraged to engage in a number of simulation training exercises, go through technique-honing skill stations, and put theory into practice as you learn to manage a variety of clinical settings under the supervision of our team of highly trained clinical facilitators and educators.
The following are some of the workshop's key topics:
- perform ECG
- intravenous infusions and infusion pump
- IVC/PICC/CVC care
- NGT/PEG care
- medication safety and administration including Insulin injections
- wounds care
- 2-way IDC management
- 3-way IDC/CBWO/MBWO procedures
- ICC care
- Met Call and Code Blue procedures
- 8 self-directed CPD hours
- $360 (incl. GST)
- 10% discount available for BML Members (Previous or current students from other BML courses)
The workshop is also a great opportunity to increase preparedness for stepping into a new nursing role. Students with good performance have opportunity to be referred to appropriate employers (such as nursing agencies or/and clinical facilities).
